Boca Riviera House

The design of this infill custom residence located in the Riviera section of Boca Raton, FL, was informed predominantly by the curves of ocean waves.  As with virtually all RBA designs, the juxtaposition of geometry is an important element.  Here in this home, circular forms intersect square shapes to create a focused and welcoming motor court and entry sequence.  The striking contrast of dark and light finishes is further augmented by the warm lighting scheme.  At the rear of the house, a striking waterfall feature cascading from a cantilevered porch animates the pool area.  As with all RBA design work, the interplay of outdoor to indoor spaces as well as the connectivity of all levels is paramount.  This design connects three levels of living including a dramatic semicircular roof terrace accessible by a glass stair tower and elevator.
